Main Theme:Mechatronics is an ever-widening field involving actuators/sensors, electronics/mechanics, controls, system design/integration, and beyond. The aim of the symposium is to promote the research, development and application in this field. Following the success of the first and the second AISM, this symposium will bring together researchers and engineers in this multidisciplinary field to stimulate new ideas, to share knowledge in practical problems and solutions, as well as to facilitate cooperation for the future. The main theme of AISM2008 is "Reclaim the Earth and the Human Society." The scope of the symposium includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Measurement and Control in Mechatronic Systems
Mechatronics in Manufacturing and Automation
Modeling and Design of Mechatronic Systems
Micro-Mechatronics
Applications of Mechatronics
Moreover, following the main theme of this symposium, special sessions focused on "Mechatronic Technologies for Agriculture, Ecology and Human Life" will be organized.
